Adventurous Activity Taster Sessions

Fancy trying something adventurous or discovering how you could help your young people access more exciting activities?

Come along to Forest Campsite and try a selection of activities, with tasters planned in:

• Climbing
• Abseiling
• Archery
• Shooting
• High ropes

You’ll have the opportunity to experience the activities, learn about the training involved and discover how you could become more involved in delivering adventurous activities for young people.

The tasters are open to volunteers who want to explore new opportunities, regardless of their current experience.

Book the tasters on their own, or combine them with Saturday’s Practical Skills Day and an overnight camp. Lightweight Expedition Permit participants can also choose the tasters for Sunday.

Important: You must choose between the Activity Taster Sessions and the Rafting Permit course on Sunday. You cannot book both.
